Dowry System

Dowry System :- It refers to some amount of money, properties, vehicle and many others thinks given by the daughter's father to their son in law and his family before, after and during the marriage. 


Basically , this is followed by Indian Society. 
According to me this dowry system is followed by those who are mentally sick and we can say that they are followed by those who are not properly educated and here education doesn't means any kind of school, college, degree etc. By educated term I mean to say that who are mentally and sociologically uneducated who thinks and calls this system right, because they used to think that they spent so much of money on their son's education and other things,so it's there right to take dowry from girl's father before marriage . But I used think that, do they ever thinks that girl's father do the same for their daughter, maybe not cause if they, they will never ask for dowry. 

According to me and who are mentally well educated people dowry system is not good, 
And as per the rules and regulations dowry system is not legal in our India but still so many illiterate people who exist in our great country used to ask for the dowry because as I said earlier they thinks it's their right. And those people with that kind of mentality tells other to do the same. 

There's one more problem in our society that if you are not taking dowry from girl's father, then the society will start criticizing the boy's family by using some cheap tricks. I would share my personal experience on this statement I've given above. Almost a year ago my brother got married and he doesn't took any kind of dowry or gift from girl's father and my family was fine with that but my few relatives got to know about this thing , they started overreacting and starting criticizing my family and my brother by giving such statements like 'definitely there'll be some kind and of fault in you / your son that's why you're not taking dowry but we know the truth so we didn't reacted to such vulgar and bad comments because we know what we're doing. 

At last I would like to state that, dowry system is not anyone's right and no one is allowed to promote such things and if you're able to complain against it you should do for sure . 
We should not take Or give any kind of dowry. 
Parents should educate their children about this and vice versa. 
Live and let live others.

Social Inequality

 As per the law and constitution, India is democratic country . India got independence on 15 August 1947, and by the adoption of constitution it declared itself a democratic country on 26 January 1950.  Basically democracy means the people of the country elects their own government. Democratic country's people have all the fundamental rights which also includes "Right to equality before law". Equality means when everyone has same rights and all are equal before law whether they belongs to any societies, race , gender and religion.
